BackBlack Impact Grant 2026

The BackBlack Impact Grant is a community-driven grant program providing direct funding to Black-led nonprofits during Black Philanthropy Month.

In 2026, BackBlack will award four $5,000 grants, a total of $20,000 in unrestricted funding, to organizations demonstrating creativity and storytelling, community engagement and outreach, and strong campaign activation and communication during Black Philanthropy Month.

How it works

Launch your fundraising campaign

1

Create a fundraising campaign using one of BackBlack’s official platform partners. View the full list of terms.

Your campaign can support any aspect of your work and doesn’t need to mention Black Philanthropy Month, but it must be active and accepting donations at some point during August 2026.

Submit your campaign to BackBlack

2

Submit your campaign through the official BackBlack Impact Grant submission form. This allows us to confirm your eligibility, track engagement, and consider your organization for funding.
