Are you a Black-led nonprofit or fiscally sponsored community organization in need of funding?
You may be eligible to receive support from one of our funding partners as part of Black Philanthropy Month. We're teaming up with platforms, funders, and changemakers through the end of August to distribute over $100,000 in direct support and we want to make sure your organization is part of it. Check out the funding opportunities that are available now.

Join the BackBlack Directory
Before you can access any funding or resources, your organization must be listed in the BackBlack Directory.
This confirms you're a Black-led, Black-benefiting nonprofit or fiscally sponsored org.

BackBlack Impact Grant
Applications due by August 31!
We’re giving away $20,000 in funding to Black-led nonprofits this August. Eligibility requirements, deadlines, and helpful tips will be announced soon.

Eligibility varies by opportunity. Most opportunities are available to U.S.-based nonprofits verified as Black-led and Black-benefiting in the BackBlack Directory. Review each opportunity’s requirements before applying.

Joining is easy! Submit your organization to the BackBlack Directory to become eligible for funding opportunities. Verification typically takes 2–3 business days.
